The Sacrament of Confirmation "deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. . . . We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service" (from the United States Catholic Catechism for adults).
Preparation for Confirmation is a two-year program that begins in Middle School Youth Ministry in eighth grade and concludes in ninth grade with Confirmation. For more information about our Middle School Youth Group and Confirmation preparation program, click here.
Adults who have received some but not all of the sacraments of initiation and wish to be received fully into the Church are invited to join our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) program. For more information, please click here.
