St. Catherine of Siena Parish

St. Catherine of Siena's K through 5 faith formation program is progressive and builds upon Christian virtues learned in the home with catechesis. The families of St. Catherine's share in their children's religious education, bridging the home with a greater faith community.

At the middle and high school level, youth enter into a "ministry" that encourages them to serve, learn the tenets of their faith, and put their faith into action.

St. Catherine's extends an invitation to all whose children are not benefiting already from faith formation at St. Catherine's to join us this September. More information will be posted here regarding events, activities, and resources later this summer and fall. We look forward to meeting you and sharing in your faith journey!

There will be a Youth Faith Formation Fair on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in the Parish Center from 8:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Stop by to register your child for Youth Faith Formation classes, meet the teachers, and look at the materials.

Some exciting changes are happening this year with Middle School Youth Group. Instead of being listed separately in the weekly bulletin, the K-5 Youth Faith Formation and the Middle School Youth Group will be listed together under the title -- Youth Faith Formation K-8. The middle school youth group will be led by Liz Colucci, and they will be using the textbook Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers. It will be an exciting year of religion, community service, and socialization.
