MISSION

When the Men's Group was formed about 12 to 15 years ago, the members decided they would have no bylaws, meetings or hierarchy, and no formal mission statement. Functioning without a rigid structure, the group undertakes projects on an as-needed, basis and doesn't undertake formal memberships drives. Instead, the members extend an open invitiation to men who wish to help with projects that will benefit the church and the congregation.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

The Men's Group is perhaps best known for its pancake breakfasts and pasta dinners, which have raised funds for such projects as buying new kitchen equipment for the staff kitchen and supporting the youth group travels to the Dominican Republic. In addition to the wood trim on the outside of the parish center, the group has twice painted the parish hall. Continuing a tradition that started eight years ago, the group hosts a coffee social after the 9 a.m. mass on the second Sunday of the month.
